Florida Senate Passes Convention of States Application

Florida took a huge step towards liberty, and we’re excited to bring you the good news.

The Florida Senate passed the Convention of States application today by a voice vote (voice votes are used when a measure has overwhelming support).

The Convention of States team in Florida has done a fantastic job and deserves a huge congratulations.

Our application is making its way through the Florida House as well. HM 381 will be heard by the Judiciary Committee tomorrow at 9:30am EST. You can contact the committee members by clicking on their names below and sending the following email:

Dear Representative [Last Name],

Please consider voting for HM 381 to call a Convention of States. I believe this is the last, best chance to preserve liberty in this nation and force Congress to be fiscally responsible. The Founders gave the states Article V for such a time as this—it is our duty to use it.

Your vote can bring us one step closer to ensuring the preservation of liberty in this country.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
