Mark Meckler to headline Albuquerque Tea Party's Constitution Day Celebration

Albuquerque, NM, September 14, 2015 – Residents of New Mexico who are curious about how to limit the power and jurisdiction of the federal government are welcome to attend the Albuquerque Tea Party’s Constitution Day Celebration Dinner. Mark Meckler, President of Citizens for Self-Governance and co-founder of the Convention of States Project, will be speaking and taking questions about an Article V Convention of States – the Founders’ tool to rein in the runaway train in Washington, D.C.

If you imagine getting rid of bloated, corrupt federal agencies that do not have Constitutional authority such as the EPA, IRS, Dept. of Education, et al, then this is the event to attend. Meckler will outline details for states’ interested in reclaiming their rightful Constitutional authority over the federal government and how citizens can get involved.

The New Mexico State House passed a resolution calling for a Convention of States last year, and the Senate is considering it.
