The Tennessee Senate Finance, Ways, and Means Committee is set to vote on our resolution this Wednesday, April 1.
If you are a citizen of Tennessee, we need you to do two things:
1. Call and Email the Members of the Committee
On Monday and Tuesday call them on the phone.
AFTER you have called them, send them an e-mail.
In either case the message is the same:
“Support SJR 0067, a Convention of states call to limit the power, scope and jurisdiction of the federal government and to limit the terms of its officials. ”
2. Attend the Hearing
If you can make it to Nashville on Wednesday at 9:30 am in the Legislative Plaza room LP 12, we need you to show up. Don’t count on somebody else doing it. If we can fill the room and the hallways and surround the building, all the better!
We need this committee to pass SJR 0067 so it can be heard by the Senate as a whole.
